Every so often, it is advisable
to bring a ring in for a professional polish

Polishing will remove any scratches on the metal and we'll check to make sure stones are secure and prongs are not in need of repair. And, you'll be amazed at how new your jewelry looks!

Everyone has pieces in the bottom of their jewelry box that are in need of updating

Could be a piece you inherited, or a piece from long ago that no longer suits you. Put it to use and allow us to help you redesign the odd piece or pieces into an distinctive, one-of-a-kind treasure you'll be eager to wear.

we are ready to help

If your turquoise beads, your Tahitian, South Sea or luscious chocolate pearls need to be re-strung, we'll do an exemplary job. When it's time to update their look, add some gold beads or an exciting clasp.

When that white gold piece of jewelry starts to lose its crisp, bright look, it may be time to have it polished and rhodium plated

As of late, we've been plating some yellow gold jewelry with 20kt or 22kt to give them a richer look. We can also plate black rhodium on white gold to give your piece a dramatic look.

The Goldsmith can help keep you on time

The Goldsmith can handle any watch problem, from a simple battery replacement, to removal of links, to a new watch strap, to a complete overhaul and replacement of the movement. We can lengthen or shorten gold watch straps, or create custom straps for you. Whether it's your grandfather's pocket watch or the newest model, we can service it. In most cases, we can replace the battery while you browse through our showcases.

Sometimes it's the engraving that makes the gift special

We can hand or machine engrave metal or glass to your specifications or we can help you choose the perfect saying and the perfect font. Whether it's something as intricate as a logo or your family crest, or as simple as a name, The Goldsmith provides quality, professional engraving.

We've got quite a collection of fine color gemstones and diamonds here at The Goldsmith

Because of our many years in business, wide range of projects and our reputation for working with fine color stones, we have vast and deep sources for obtaining gems.

Do you have a specfic cut in mind? We can supply that too.

Those odds and ends in the back of the jewelry box add up

We can purchase it or put it toward a new, updated creation for yourself.

The Goldsmith boasts an on-site shop with two jewelers, a polisher and a wax carver ready to handle any repair

Because we make and design jewelry, we understand manufacturing and can tackle big or small repairs. "So many rings today don't sit well on the fingers, or the earrings are too heavy and pull on the ears or the clasp is not well-made, or has sharp edges that snag the clothes," says Bender, a jewelry lover and artist who views precious metals as her canvas. Whether your new engagement ring needs to be resized, chain needs to be soldered, necklace shortened, bracelet lengthened, pearls re-strung, broken earring fixed, the battery in your watch replaced, or even your glasses repaired, no job is too small.
